Anyone in the DevOps community can nominate. You can nominate yourself, your team, your company, a project you admire, a leader, an event, or a product.

Community awards (categories 1–9) are free. Tools & Services awards (categories 10–24) are $300 per nomination. Fees help fund the awards program, judging, and the winners announcement at Predict 2026.

Yes. You can submit nominations across multiple categories, though each nomination must stand on its own merits and provide the specific evidence for that category.

Activity, releases, transformations or contributions during calendar year 2026 (or the 12 months preceding nominations closing on October 18).

Winners are decided by a blend of judge scoring (60%) and public voting (40%). Judges evaluate every nomination against category-specific criteria; the public then votes on finalists.

Yes, in categories where the nominated activity is genuinely community-serving rather than a vehicle for product marketing (e.g., open source maintainership, community leadership). Vendor-authored product case studies belong in Tools & Services, not the End-User DevOps Team category.

2026 marks the 10th anniversary of the DevOps Dozen. The program has been expanded to 24 awards to reflect where DevOps is going — with new categories for agentic delivery, DevOps for AI systems, platform engineering, FinOps, and more.

Winners are announced live during Predict 2026, Techstrong's virtual summit in January. Finalists will be notified before the event.
