Category 1 - Best DevOps Open Source Project

Here are the finalists for the best open source Solution (There can be a commercial version, but were looking only for the open source project) that really is the best DevOps open source project.

Category 2 - Best DevOps Commercial Solution

This is the opposite of Best Open Source solution. This category is for a commercial solution. It that can have open source components or an open source version even. It can be pure software or SaaS or even services.

Category 3 - Best DevOps Solution Provider Executive

We are looking for the top executive at a DevOps tools or solution provider. It could be a CEO, a CTO or other C-level executive. In a large company it may be an GM or SVP. This is not an exec at a company leading a DevOps Transformation.

Category 4 - Best DevOps Solution Provider

This category is for the best consultant/solutions provider in DevOps. There is a growing number of DevOps consultants who are helping companies in their DevOps journeys. We are looking for the best of them.

Category 5 - Most Innovative Solution of the Year

What’s the difference between best and innovative? Good question. We are looking for solutions that really changed the game here. Taking a different approach or new technology, innovation is sometimes hard to describe but easy to see. We want to recognize the innovators.

Category 6 - Top DevOps Evangelist

This is one of our favorites. We are blessed in DevOps to have so many great evangelists who travel the world spreading the DevOps gospel. Whether they work for a specific company in the space or not, this should be a really competitive category.

Category 7 - Best DevOps Transformation

We hear from so many organizations about their DevOps transformations. Let’s recognize those organizations who are really setting the bar in making over their companies with DevOps.

Category 8 - Best DevOps Transformation Leader

At organizations who have had the most successful DevOps transformations, who was the key leader who made it happen? We want to know and we want to acknowledge them.

Category 9 - Best New DevOps Solutions Company

While DevOps as a movement isn’t that old, there are some companies who have been at this for a while, but there are also some newer companies that have exploded on the scene and really made an impact. We are looking for those companies who are tomorrows leaders in DevOps. Nominees must be in the DevOps market less than 24 months.

Category 10 - Best DevOps Book / eBook

No, The Phoenix Project is not eligible, neither is Jez’s CD book. This is the 2017 DevOps Dozen. But there are so many great DevOps books and eBooks. Looking forward to seeing what everyone thinks was great reading.

Category 11 - Best DevOps Presentation of the Year

We are lucky to have so many DevOps conferences with many great presentations. In fact so much of the DevOps movement was ignited by a few great presentations. What was the best DevOps themed presentation of the past year? Let us know which ones you really thought were best.
